Another one for this day? 2024 12 05

Today I woke up happily because it was from one of my unresolved bits of history in this dream wherein I'm working with ppl, but not sure of where: is it my country of origin or my adoptive country wherein I shall always be something of a fish out of water because I'll never truely be able to get my head round the two distinctly different cultures, Finnish and Swedish, at least one of them so-called high context whereas my own culture is so-called low context...The subject matter to do with working in my first laboratory aged 15 to 20, with lots of paper sheet-making, which in my second laboratory was work given over to women, I guess a bit sexist as maybe beneath the dignity of the males employed there, maybe not? Whatever the event I was soon thinking about my intention to ditch F-b owing to the fact I read somewhere that its owner Mr Z was also a Zio in the sense of supporting Is-it-real with investments in its Tech industries? Which in turn got me thinking about not one of my two sons, but one of my sister's three sons and how their father my brother-in-law had recently observed the last time we had talked in a video link-up, that his youngest son, T, was like me his maternal uncle. But it was the second youngest of her 4 children, G, another son, who excercised my mind because of all the ppl among my 90+ friends on F-b who recently commented what a good idea was it to boycot F-b in order to be on the right side of history, vis-a-vis the Genocide being visited on the poor Palestinian ppl, when he said he will do the same and leave also. When here I am still not having delivered on my initiative. But only in a sense a halfway house in changing my profile pic there on f-b to this guy: who has shed his normal spectacles sitting in his old Saab car sporting his new keffiyeh, boasting how he no longer needs to wear specacles, because in order to qualify for an updated driving license on his 85th birthday, he was obliged to undertake two vision tests and a third to qualify his eyes for driving vehicles without his spectacles... Now I'm approaching the punch line because I am increasingly thinking of these second and third sons of my sister's as in many ways more like me, than either of my two sons I have fathered with my wife of 56 yra standing, because in these important traits I refer to, they take more after their mother than their father, and by implication me, their mother's brother..? Which got me thinking about my deseased father, dying when I was aged 5 and how he lost his natural father aged 8 or 9; just at the start of WWI whilst my dad didn't return from WWII. Then I switched to thinking about my sister's character and compared hers to my mother's character, her two sister's: one older the other younger, and also to my father's sister, L, whom she most closely recalled. That's it then, in large families how the male offspring of one's sister can resemble more closely the dominant features of one's self, whilst for themselves they have to look to their father's sister, to see a similar story? Check it out and leave me a comment to tell it rings true to an extent, or that as usual I am talking bollocks, hahaha!!!
