Now whoever in the world would be so full of themselves to head a blog about themselves in this way? Bet it grabbed a few people’s attention though so you’ll just have to go with the flow to decide whether there is any merit in such a discourse as this..?

So how many times have you heard of a real beauty be her male or female, more usually female perhaps, undergoing cosmetic surgery because they had become disenchanted with their own natural good looks, and in some cases with absolutely disastrous effects..? Like the young woman in Dirty Dancing, the female lead who had a well-publicized nose job to the extent no-one could recognise her thereafter, when she lost her reputation although the nose job itself didn’t lead to disfigurement, and then another example of a perfectly good looking lady actress in the Bold and the Beautiful who with Botox to her lips and breast implants etc., transformed a once very handsome figure of a woman into someone very different and less desirable following cosmetic surgery. All of which is proof positive in my view that there is no correlation between having good looks on the one hand and at the same time being aware of the fact. Like whenever I compliment my wife on her good lucks invariably I am told you don’t understand anything and when it leaks out sometimes many women only dress for other women not their men…

My problem then most of my young life was to have no shortage of attention from both boys when I was really young and girls later throughout my life and well into my 60’s when sometimes I have been known to have been paraded round a pub for example by someone asking how old do you think this guy is? Only to hear the person being corrected upwards by 10 or 20 years on more than one occasion…

But I always maintained that if I was young looking on the outside this bore no correlation to the old guy lurking beneath the young exterior…The example I use to qualify this statement is the fact my elder brother who’s hair began to turn white already in his 30s had a mouth of perfect white teeth then and still has today with the exception of one of his wisdom teeth that grew crookedly so that today on the verge of turning 80 still has a pristine smile of pearly white teeth whereas I regard myself lucky that I still have some of my own teeth left, though the pristine looking smile I had for much of my young life is today reinforced by an ever increasing number of false teeth:: fake teeth as my granddaughters now grown up used to say when they were still toddlers, hahaha

So far so good but the next bit to justify the comment about appearing “hot” when I was younger is not so easy to explain and only recently now that that too has long since departed have I however reluctantly or perhaps with a certain degree of pride come to the conclusion that this description was the only one that satisfactorily explained all the facts, so that you have to imagine an old guy with a certain amount of sex appeal for the ladies but who is totally unaware of it because of his older alter ego lurking just mms, a fraction of an inch, below the surface..?

Well it’s too late in this blog to deal with that much bigger question so let me please leave it there and hope to return later in this last week before my September break away hopefully collecting a few more of Scotland’s bigger summits to give you a sequel..? Have a good day everyone!

Well just long as I get to thinking these old blogs could ring true for some of my readers it's a bit of fun for me to re-post them: serving to refresh my memory about the guy who penned them, whilst admiting he is no longer fully recognisable though fun for me too so long as there is a big enough gap between their first being published and today's date, lol.
