Someone in Japan..? 18 11 10 (8) 25 2 1
Well
this year more than any other certainly for a good few years I have written
blogs for people in specific countries, like recently I wrote a blog directed to
Polish people and a person or persons from an "Unknown country" by
which I guessed in this case it was someone in my country of residence who wished to remain anonymous, a thing that might be difficult otherwise in a country
with such a small population as ours, unlike the UK for example from where I originate. But
France, the United States and Canada, and quite possibly one time directed to
Russian, and also the people of the United Arab Emirates.
Japan however hasn’t figured at least since 2013 when I lost my audience on MySpace(s) since the admin of MySpace decided to discontinue the blog feature, which is when I switched to BlogSpot here, around the time I flagged it up to this one person in Japan with whom I used to have a correspondence…

So no-one before from Japan since 2013 until quite recently..? Now it is a fact that I do not have a running account of which countries figure in where my readers reside for, over the period of 5 years the number of different countries have been pretty near countless, except for the fact that if pressed it might just be possible to count them all because I do have a record of sorts. That is because I am in the habit of taking a vga snapshots of my feedback with one of my many cameras, and in the present circumstances I can call up the following information concerning my audience in Japan:
2018
9 19 page hits 2
2018
9 19 page hits 1 more to a total of 3
2018
9 26 page hits 1
2018
10 1 page hits 2 more to a total of 3
2018
11 9 page hits 1
Whilst
bearing in mind that once someone visits, my feedback data on BlogSpot remains
in place several days so that a collection may be made at the same time or
added to a growing tally…
Unlike
my Japanese daughter-in-law who also writes a blog my own enjoys only a very
limited popularity to the extent she knows many of her hitters by name through
comments she receives from them and in certain circumstance she has become an
expert in her field about one of the sports she follows and writes about, her
having the advantage of not only speaking Japanese but several European languages
also.
Returning
to my audience in Japan then on two earlier occasions he she has visited and
then within a few days has returned to build the overall page count to 3 before
absenting his or herself for a few weeks..?
The
question for me to answer therefore is: is this one and the same person who
visited my blog regularly when I used to write on MySpace(s), and only once to
my knowledge probably in July or August 2013, after per force switching to
BlogSpot when for the only time I had a visit to receive a total of 15 page
hits from someone in Japan?
Whatever
the event I am very happy to have people living in Japan visit my BlogSpot. So
far I have visited Japan only twice: the first time was when my elder son got
married there in Okinawa and with my wife we spent a week there, and the second
time was whilst flying home from Okinawa when we broke our journey at Narita International Airport in Tokyo to spend a couple of nights there in order to meet some business colleagues in the city
the next day, but which also afforded my wife and I the opportunity to dine in the city with some
Japanese friends we had met in Europe, when they took us to an exclusive
Japanese restaurant where the chef prepared individual courses for each of his
4 guests as we were sitting up to the bar.
And
then of course I have met other Japanese people whilst on holiday and in the
odd case I have made friends with Japanese people and exchanged titbits on F-b
and elsewhere… If I were to have to move country again I can’t think of anywhere
better than Japan, with the possible exception of Scotland where I feel I have a date with destiny to finish climbing my beloved Munro hills, there remaining 20 of the 282 as
yet still unclimbed. Have a good day everyone and if my hitter in Japan is
known to me and graces my BlogSpot yet again, I trust only that they are continuing to take care of themselves
and that they continue to enjoy life?
