Update for hitters..? 18 12 15 (12) 25 2 1

Below is a copy of the feedback I included in my blog of 18 11 10 entitled “A blog for my Japanese hitter(s)..? 18 11 10:

2018 9 19 page hits 2
2018 9 19 page hits 1 more to a total of 3
2018 9 26 page hits 1
2018 10 1 page hits 2 more to a total of 3
2018 11 9 page hits 1

To which may now be added the following,

2018 12 15 page hits from Japan                3 today

When, at the same time, as I visited my BlogSpot there was also the following fresh feedback from other countries:

2018 12 15 page hits from Singapore          1 today
2018 12 15 page hits from Turkey               1 today

Just to complete this survey there are also the hits from earlier in the summary table, as follows:

2018 12 12 page hits from Unknown Region          1
2018 12 12 page hits from France                        1

Which 2 hits correlate with actual blogs, that is, one hit each for the last 2 blogs I wrote and published on the 5th and 12th December.

Now what makes all this interesting for me is that none of my page hits for today correlate with any of my blogs actually registering fresh hits. If they had correlated with the two blogs I wrote and published last then I could have expected the numbers of hits to increase accordingly, instead of just registering the single original hits, or if they were for still older blogs I could have expected the blog titles to have been added to the list of my last two published blogs up to a maximum of 5 blogs.

Well of course it is nice for me to think the same people return again and again to read what I have been getting up to since I last posted and if people hit a particular blog that of course is also nice to know. Like my most popular blog on this BlogSpot was one I wrote I believe in 2014 or 2015 about the most interesting person I met on my annual climbing holiday in Scotland the same year: about this American young lady and her boyfriend whom we met at this backpackers’ hostel in the Central Highlands, and then again at another similar hostel in a different part of Scotland by which time I was travelling without my wife who had returned home to leave me to climb some of the bigger hills I had left on my list of unclimbed peaks, when over a few days more we got to chat and get to know one another quite a bit better to the extent we subsequently became friends on Facebook. Perhaps the thing that made this my most popular blog was that this person who was living in the USA would every few weeks or so, or even with an interlude of 2 months return to my BlogSpot and hit maybe 200 pages of blog including this his or her favourite and when I could see it as the same person leaving their calling card as it were. Hahaha

This same blog was the one I sent to another young lady who stayed in our guest room which my wife rents out to people in the summer months because she maintains there are too few rooms for all the tourists wishing to visit our town and on the occasion in question she left me in charge to give the person the key to that separate part of our house during the two nights she stayed with us. The reason I mention this here is that I started getting hits from this person of Unknown Region thereafter which of course makes me think the person may be this young lady who incidentally has recently re-visited and left over 80 page hits in two lots on the same day..!?

Have a good day everyone and keep hitting my pages of blog: if you like to read such light-hearted banter from an aging hippie, and would like me to write more..?
