Sitting here looking out over our East facing garden 2026 4 8

and I am wondering how many more springs can I expect to be able to do this?
The latest thing is is our house worthy to continue living in it, and/or how much will the cost be to put things right again?
Not that I per se have any bigger problems for it is not my health that is adversely affected but the health of my wife!
She complains that there is something in the house which detracts from her feeling comfortable in it.

Last week we had her cleaner visit just before Easter in readiness for our Easter guests who stayed over Saturday night to leave on Easter Sunday.
So i took the opportunity to bounce the idea off her a lady by the name of Johanna.
Happily she remarked that she couldn't smell mold anywhere but thought that maybe in the bathroom area approached through a vestible (foyer or artic entry) from our Patio entrance, which leads into a hallway before the bathroom-cum-Sauna area, and a guest bedroom, located in our garage, where she thought she could sense increased humidity that may contain bacteria...
But I feel bad because over the years I have to admit to having done so little to remedity any such problem.
That on the one hand and there being no company that readily investigates for such phenomena...The Town Hall ppl told us if it is not rented accommodation they don't provide a service to House Owners, such as we are. When I tink about it more deeply my wife has never really been happy in any of the dwellings we have lived throughout the 58 years we have lived together and alergies of one form or another has always been a problem which has dogged her life: unable to put her hands in water for example meant that once I retired 16 yeara ago I took over the kitchen duties in so far as washing and drying dishes knives forks and sopoons were concerned.
Whilst I was still working for a time these duties were in part given over to our children for pocket money, but to a larger extent I believe she just got on with the tasks wearing rubber gloves or some such protection.

Hopefully she now has a Company name of ppl who undertake such work so perhaps we can look forward to professionals making a pronouncement on the matter in the not-too-distant future..!?

Just another beautiful day..? 2026 3 11

Yeah, but how many more has one a right to expect when the world at present is so full of suffering and strive, so much bloodshed in the middle east, and in many of their once sacred places??? Here in Finland, we its ppl are just emerging from one of the worst winters in a good few years: 2021 when I last walked any distance on frozen ice visiting our out-lying islands, in more usual days only seen across the sea! Not because my brother just sent me an email in which he mentioned by way of saying he is still getting out and about that he was doing alright, and as usual, had been selling poppies for his local Lion's Club in support of War Veterans, raising as much as £200, but because I decided the label was better than the Atheist Label I have used sometimes in the past.
